In 2019, Mark was living the bachelor life when a mutual friend suggested he connect with her sweet and single co-worker (Jessica, obviously) and the rest is history...

Throughout the next few months, Mark and Jessica began to get to know each other. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth until Mark and Jessica decided to finally meet in person at the incredibly romantic Goat Hill Tavern in Costa Mesa the day after Thanksgiving! Mark decided to show off his dance moves to impress Jessica as she had mentioned she LOVED to dance...lets just say it kind of worked.

Jessica and Mark began to get to know each other and quickly became really good friends. They talked about their ideal relationship and partners, unknowingly wanting the same qualities in their "future someone." Jessica insisted they were "just friends" and had developed a friendship that was honest, loving and caring for each other, while Mark plotted to sweep Jessica off her feet with his patience, humor and those notorious dance moves.

It clearly worked! By New Year's Eve, Jessica was completely head-over-heels for Mark and they made their relationship official in February of 2020. Over the next few years they worked hard to save to one day buy a house.

In 2021, their goal became a reality, and they bought their first home together! Jessica, Camila (Jessica's daughter), Mark, and Trigger (their fur baby) move in together for the first time and soon added Gunny (their second fur baby) to their family. In their new home, they began to build a foundation full of love, lots of dancing, and endless laughter. On November 12, 2023, Mark popped the question during a family photoshoot and Jessica excitedly said "YES!"

...some would say, "it's about damn time!"
